Q. What sets us apart from other demountable camper sales companies in the UK?

A. We have owned, used and continue to use the campers for family adventures. 

We know what works and what doesn’t, plus what is needed and what are expensive additions. By not fitting expensive often, fickle fixtures and utilising camping equipment that most people usually have saves money now and, in the future, especially when items may go wrong and fail!  

We designed the camper after owning a hard-sided demountable, that when mounted on the truck was too heavy.  This returned poor fuel economy and changed the driving characteristics to a very unsatisfactory point that required the suspension, wheels, tyres and brakes to all be uprated.  In turn, the uprated specifications required a specialist insurance, who then advised if the chassis or any part of the truck failed, the manufacturer’s warranty would be void.  

Having a background in vehicle body engineering and having work examples winning the National Award from Institute of British Carriage Automobile Manufacturers (IBCAM), meant something better could be built.  Ten years ago, the building of a super lightweight, low profile and compact demountable truck camper was started. All campers were trialled on a few family outings, then sold. This meant that the designs continually evolved and improved as time progressed, most notably getting the weight of each camper down to 280-300kg. Therefore, no upgrades or modifications are needed for your truck. 

All campers are at a price point without equal. The campers are built to fit your specific make and model of truck. They have simplicity and spacious functionality including integrated storage options at the heart of each build.  These can be tailored specifically to the needs of each client.  

The construction of the main body is composite panels clad in aluminium with 25mm of Styrofoam insulation, with the inside clad in a carpet liner of your colour choice.  This offers warmth and good acoustics. 

The roof is one full sheet of FRP (fibre reinforced plastic panel) on an aluminium sub-frame and comes as standard with a fitted roof light offering ventilation and natural light. The pop-up top is made of PVC coated fabric which is super tough and offers full weather protection from all elements. Additionally, it is fitted with friction welded windows (with blinds) and integrated air vents. 

As an optional extra, we can supply an insulation pack to fasten around the pop-up top to add more insulation if needed. 

The camper exteriors are made from either white of black panels but can be wrapped in other colours of your own choosing on a price on application basis. Graphics can be added to the customer’s colour or design specifications too.

The light weight of the camper means you can utilise your truck’s 4x4 ability fully, to take you off the beaten track when other campers will not allow it.
